Annually the legal fraternity in Melbourne continues to raise funds and support the work of Reclink Australia through participation in the Frank Galbally Cup – a football match between Solicitors and Barristers. The Frank Galbally Cup is guided and overseen by its own organising committee, headed by Hayden Legro, life member of Reclink Australia whose support is integral to the day.
Once again, the Legal Community unites for charity!
We are pleased to announce the return of the 14th annual Barristers vs Solicitors charity football match, held in honour of the late Frank Galbally.
We welcome football players from all sides of the legal profession to join in – the mixed-gender game is played over 4 x 15 minute quarters. We welcome women, men, non-binary, and gender diverse people to participate.
To do this we need players and we encourage those who haven't participated previously to give it a go. A reasonable level of fitness is required but these are social games.
The Cup assists Reclink Australia to improve the lives of disadvantaged Australians by providing access to sports, arts, and recreation programs.
